Support Our Mission
Every donation to the 18 A Day Foundation is a direct investment in the lives of students who may never know your name — but whose futures you help protect. We are a young organization with an urgent mission, and the work we do depends entirely on the generosity of people who believe, as we do, that 18 lost lives a day is 18 too many.
Where Your Donation Goes
Your contribution funds the programs and partnerships that turn awareness into action:
- Awareness campaigns — billboards, yard signs, classroom materials, and community events that break the silence around youth mental health, especially during National Suicide Prevention Month each September.
- School-based prevention tools — supporting programs like Relay12, which give students a confidential, trusted way to ask for help and connect with caring adults before a crisis becomes a tragedy.
- Advocacy and outreach — working with schools, faith communities, civic organizations, and legislators to build lasting systems of support for students and families.
Every dollar is stewarded with care. As a registered nonprofit, we are committed to transparency in how funds are raised and spent, and we are happy to answer any questions about our financials or programs.
Ways to Give
- One-time gift — any amount makes a difference. A $25 donation funds yard signs for a single school campaign; $250 helps bring classroom resources to a community; $1,000 supports a full local awareness initiative.
- Recurring monthly support — sustained giving allows us to plan ahead, build deeper school partnerships, and respond quickly when communities need us. Even $10 a month adds up to meaningful, ongoing impact.
- Corporate sponsorship and matching gifts — many employers will match your donation, sometimes doubling or tripling your contribution. Ask your HR department, and reach out to us if you'd like to explore a corporate partnership.
- Memorial and tribute gifts — honor a loved one by giving in their name. We will send a personal acknowledgment to the family you designate.
- Mail a check — payable to 18 A Day Foundation, sent to 3804 Greenleaf Circle, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
Tax-Deductible

Thank You
